Three Gifts for a 20-Something: Going From AutoPilot To Achievement

What three “gifts” would you give a 20-something if you were a “Forty-Godmother”? Here 40-somethings share three wishes to help a 20-something get a head start on the confidence to make decisions that are right for themselves. No more woulda, coulda, shoulda.

1. If you don’t want something repeated, don’t say it.

2. Give yourself permission to slow down. Going from one thing to the next, and doing things just because they are happening, is not living life to it’s fullest if it’s getting in the way of knowing who you are and fulfilling who you want to be. That is running on auto-pilot not achievement. It’s only when I stopped accepting every invitation, meeting or ask that I cleared the space to see where I wanted to go.

3. Help and love is all around you, Let it come into your life. You don’t have to do it all.
