Nominations are now open for the fourth-annual Forty Women to Watch Over 40 List.

As I read last year’s entries, I was continuously inspired by the stories of women who madeForty Over 40 Logo complete career shifts or the ones who really got moving on the career front at an age when it is assumed women will slow down.

I’m fortunate that I’m closely tied to many trailblazing women through the 40:20 Vision and the non-profit I volunteer with, She’s the First. While the 40:20 Vision offers inspiration for readers of all ages, it was launched on the premise that the 15-20 year age range between 40-somethings and 20-somethings lent itself well for advice sharing (from both the 40s AND the 20s). The ‘3 Gifts for a 20-Something’ post each week provides me with the sense of a never-ending networking of Forty-Godmothers – what more could a girl ask for?

These women are doing big things and deserve the recognition. Here’s your chance to give that. Consider nominating a mentor or friend in your life – or even yourself! We’re looking forward to celebrating the next class of honorees. Get started here.
