March 6th, 2014 — 3:46am

Today we have a post from Stephanie Florence, 40:20 Vision’s contributing / Millennial editor, on the transition phase that comes around this age. ~ New York City is often called a melting pot, a place filled with transplants who left behind their comfort zones to take on all that the concrete jungle has to offer. I’ve been fortunate to meet several wonderful transplants during my two years in New York. One of the most binding parts of ... keep reading...

Today we have a post from Stephanie Florence, 40:20 Vision’s contributing / Millennial editor, in response to Susan Patton’s opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal, A Little Valentine’s Day Straight Talk. ~ Dear Ms. Patton, I could not disagree with you more.   A few weeks ago I shared some insights from women who were happy they didn't get married in their 20s. I said I would also share some perspective from women who did get married younger. This woman shares what she thinks has contributed to the strength of her late 20-someting marriage. ~ Make sure they like you for the right reasons. The wrong reasons are that he is trying to change you or the way you look, ... keep reading...

Something to Think About, Something to Talk About

November 29th, 2013 — 1:53pm

Today we have a guest post from Molly Ford, reflecting on what she has learned from her blog, Smart, Pretty & Awkward, and how grateful she is for each of those lessons – a timely conversation during this time of the year. ~ I've spent the past five years, from age 22 to age 27, writing on my site, Smart, Pretty & Awkward. Smart, Pretty & Awkward gives three pieces of advice each post: How to be ... keep reading...
