Every now and then I read something that makes me think….that nails the essence of 40:20 Vision. Yesterday this quote came my way from author José Micard Teixeira – recently quoted by Meryl Streep as words she lives by. It was one of those moments. There is something that happens as you interact on this planet longer …eventually you stop fighting others and you start realizing your power. The only race that really matter’s is the one you have with yourself. When you stop getting slowed down by the hurdles other people put in your way with their judgement or worse….oh how far you can go! Imagine what could happen if we got to that mindset earlier.

“I no longer have patience for certain things, not because I’ve become arrogant, but simply because I reached a point in my life where I do not want to waste more time with what displeases me or hurts me. I have no patience for cynicism, excessive criticism and demands of any nature. I lost the will to please those who do not like me, to love those who do not love me and to smile at those who do not want to smile at me.
